I study how surfaces and confinement influence the behavior of soft matter systems like liquids and complex fluids. Interfaces strongly affect particle arrangement, interactions, and transformations compared to bulk systems. Using computer simulations and machine learning, I uncover subtle structural changes and underlying mechanisms. This work enables control over self-assembly and material design with tailored properties for diverse applications.
